Stephen Sawrey is a structural engineer with over 30 years experience.

He assessed earthquake damaged buildings during the emergency periods following the Christchurch earthquakes in September 2010 and February 2011.

His past appointments include:

NZ Structural Engineering Society management committee

Wellington Structural Group (Chair),

Building Research executive,

FIDIC risk management forum.

Recently Stephen was a trustee at Wellington College. He has been a trustee at Karori Normal School and served on other community groups.
